Running side by side with the BCAFC Football Programme, Alvechurch FC is a local non league club that celebrated 100 years
last year. The club has produced several players who have gone on to successful professional careers including 3 internationals. Our most famous ‘son’ and current Club Patron is ex Leicester, Arsenal and England forward, Alan Smith who now regularly commentates on Sky live football games and is widely recognised as the ‘voice’ on EA Games’ FIFA 14.
The club plays in the Baker Joiner Midland Football Alliance League which is tier 5 of the English footballing pyramid.
The players are ‘semi professional’ which means they are paid on a part time basis for representing the first team.
We believe that education is best delivered by professional educators and NOT by football clubs and that football coaching is best delivered by professionally trained coaches and NOT by educators.
Enrolling on the BCAFC programme means you will be able to utilise the latest in technology IT suites and study in a brand new facility which is an environment designed specifically for learning and you will train on the best technology 3G/4G all weather surface training pitch.
You will play competitive weekly matches on Wednesday afternoons in the British Schools and Colleges (BSC) League.
All home fixtures will be played at Lye Meadow, the home of Alvechurch FC.
For your chance to enroll on this exciting but challenging football education programme please register your interest for trials which will be held firstly in May and then subsequently on other dates throughout the summer.
